The ImpENSA project aims to strengthen relations between higher education and the wider economic and social environment through the exchange of state-of-the-art practices for the co-creation of an innovative training course for healthcare professionals in South Africa.

The training course will focus on nutrition during the first 1000 days, and will encourage continued professional development. The course will be facilitated via a blended learning model, comprising both online and face-to-face modules. The knowledge and skills imparted will ultimately contribute to improved health, growth and development during this important period.
